Challenge Event 6 will be held on the Wekiva River!

  Katies Landing, near Sanford, FL
  Note:  This is the same start location as the Wekiva River Race.

Event Start Time:  9:00 AM, Sunday, 5/12/2012

Note: All paddlers must be off the water by 5:00 PM

1. Start near the boat ramp in the park.

2. Go upstream on the Wekiva River to the canoe launch at Wekiva River
   State Park.     Approximately 10 miles.

   About 1 mile from the Wekiva River State Park is Wekiva Island bar & grill
   and a bridge to no where.

3. Turn around and proceed downstream toward Katies Landing.
   Approximately 10 miles.

4. Continue downstream to the St Johns River.
   Approximately 5.75 miles.

5. Turn around the channel marker in the mouth of the Wekiva River
   and continue upstream to the finish at Katies Landing.
   Approximately 5.75 miles.

Total distance approximately 31.5 miles.
